Parcel from America

Hey guys, quite a while back I decided it would be so cool to have a pen pal. So I got on the internet and found a website for students and teachers. It was really easy to use and it meant I was able to talk to people my age all around the world. Basically I started talking to a girl my age from America, and eventually added her on facebook. The other day I decided to see if she had facetime and for the first time ever I got to see her and speak to her properly.

She said that she really wanted to send over some American, we had planned to do this back in like February I was going to send some English things over for her birthday but basically never got round to it. But I got home yesterday to find a parcel from her eek. I was so excited!

Inside I found a letter that she had wrote explaining all the different things she had sent and describing them to me. I am so excited to try some of the food she has sent and I cannot wait to send my parcel over to her. I am always last to do everything oops.

So I will be putting photos on in the next couple of days to show you all the wonderful things she sent me. She is such a lovely girl and I cannot thank her enough hehe.
Really wish we lived closer because she is so nice and so is her friend I spoke to on facetime. Maybe one day we will meet:)

I would definitely recommend people try pen pal websites like me, it's so cool finding out different things about other peoples lives, it's quite surprising how different life is for people. I have never ever ever been to America either so I had absolutely no idea what to expect, but now I would love to go.
