Mini haul

Hey guys, I haven't posted a haul in quite a while but I got some money for christmas and decided to pick a few bits and bobs up that I have been wanting for quite a while.

I finally picked up the Garnier-BB eye roll on and the Garnier- Wake me up revitalising hydrating gel. I got both products from Tesco, but you can pretty much pick them up anywhere.

I have used the BB eye roll on more than the hydrating gel and I would definitely recommend this product it's really good, it claims to 'reduce the appearance of dark circles & bags). In my opinion it does this, I personally think it works better than my concealer I use. I cannot recommend this product enough, you can also get this product in different shades. The shade I have is 'medium' however I am thinking I needed the lighter shade but once I have blended it in with my powder and foundation it's a perfect shade.

I will let you know how I get on with the hydrating gel but up to now I have no complaints.

I also picked up a new foundation which I was interested in trying... 'Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation'. I have had my eye on this for quite a while now and thought I would give it ago. However it probably won't be for a while as I have only just recently repurchased my old foundation. But never mind I still thought I would pick it up before I forgot.

I also picked up a new lipstick whilst I was out, not sure what I think to it yet as it's a very bright colour. But I am willing to give it ago. It's 'Smooch Lipstick' in the shade 'Rocking Red'.

That is all I have picked up recently, however I am hoping to do a big haul when I get paid for the first time eek.

Meet cookie

I got a hamster!

Meet cookie, she's a long haired Syrian Hamster. She is now about 9 weeks old, and she is such a little bugger. I have wanted a new pet for absolutely ages and finally my mum let me have her as a Christmas present.

Batiste dry shampoo review

Hey guys, I decided to give 'batiste dry shampoo floral & flirty blush' ago. I was hoping for it to give my hair a little bit of boost when I'm rushing in the morning (which obviously happens a lot.) You can get it from anywhere, but I got mine when it was on offer at superdrug. At the moment it's £2.48 however it can go up to £4.99. Which personally I think is extremely expensive, if you are interested in this product click here.

This product claims to 'remove any excess grease' I think it does exactly what it says. I have only tried this product when I feel my hair is a little greasy I cannot manage leaving my hair greasy for more than a day so I am unsure if this would be ideal for a few days. But it is perfect if your hair just needs a boost.

Overall I would definitely recommend this product! It has to be one of my favorite hair products.

Christmas time

Hey guys, I have decided I want to put a few christmas decorations up in my room. I don't want to go mad because I really like how my room is set up and I feel like if I put to much into my room it will just look silly. I have recently ordered a pink christmas tree which I spoke about in my other blog post, it was from tesco so if you want to check that out click here. I think I am going to put some cute decorations on it but I'm not 100% sure yet. Personally I think the fairy lights around my bed are also very christmasy so obviously they will stay.

I am also tempted to put some tinsel up in my room, but I don't want it to look tacky so I am going to have to have a look at that and see what I think. If anybody has any suggestions of cute little christmas decorations please let me know. I have had a look at the christmas scented candles, however I think I will stick to the ones I already have.

I also went christmas shopping the other day which always makes me feel christmasy.

Quick update

Hey guys, I'm currently sat feeling all christmasy listening to Christmas songs and online shopping. I just purchased a pink christmas tree for my room. Getting all festive, hopefully I can buy some really cute decorations for my room.

Just a quick update really I am no longer at college, I really didn't enjoy myself there so I went for an interview on Monday for an apprenticeship at day nursery and guess what... I GOT THE JOB! I'm so proud of myself so now I will be earning my own money hopefully I can get some new makeup and start having more time to blog. I am really looking forward to the future now and just thought I would share this with you guys.

Recent purchases #2

Hey guys, I ran out of my foundation not long ago and decided instead of waiting until I could get into town I would simply just buy some online. Lucky for me my foundation was on offer at just £5, an absolute bargain as I find this foundation brilliant.

I also decided to treat myself to some new lipsticks seeing as it was 3 for 2 and I hadn't bought any make up lately. I picked up the Barry M Lip Paint in 'Viscous Violet' and the Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Lipstick in 'Sugar Plum.'

As you can see the pictures do look different because of the lighting, I must say I do prefer the Barry M lipstick I think it's a much nicer autumn/winter shade and it stays on for so long. I haven't really had much opportunity to wear the Collection 2000 lipstick so maybe my opinion will change in the future. But for now the Barry M one is my top favorite lipstick ever.

Everybody check out Barry M  Lip Paint in 'Viscous Violet'.

Barry M Lip Paint in 'Viscous Violet' £4.49
Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Lipstick in 'Sugar Plum.' £2.99

Both pretty good for the prices if I do say so myself.

Swatches, again the lighting isn't great and the colours look much nicer on. The photo's really don't do them justice.

If anybody is wondering the foundation I get is the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation.
